xAI has purchased and is retrofitting a building to house the new data center operations.
The data center, which will be known as MACROHARDRR, is in proximity to xAI’s newly acquired power plant site in Southaven and one of the company’s existing data centers in Tennessee.
The company expects to begin data center operations in Southaven in February 2026.
Recently, xAI announced the purchase of the building formerly used by GXO at 2400 Stateline Road as expansion plans continue in Southaven.
The newest data center will be home to GB 300 processing units for artificial intelligence operations and is expected to bring new job counts in excess of 100 immediately.
According to property records, MZX Tech, an LLC associated with xAI, purchased the property on Dec. 23.
The property at 2400 Stateline Road is a short drive from xAI’s natural gas power plant that the company bought in July 2025.
The location will be on Stateline Road in Southaven, across from the existing power center on Stanton Road.
