Intel 18A process manufacturing
Fab 52, the fifth high-volume fab on Intel's Ocotillo campus in Chandler, manufactures the Intel 18A process node, which Intel calls the most advanced semiconductor node developed and manufactured in the United States. Intel says that Panther Lake and Clearwater Forest, and multiple generations of products built on Intel 18A, are manufactured at Fab 52, and that the facility produces the most advanced logic chips in the United States. Intel 18A was developed, qualified for manufacturing and put into early production in Oregon before ramping to volume in Arizona. Intel's 2025 annual report lists Arizona among its key production fabs, running Intel 7 and ramping Intel 18A.

Published figures for 2023, from the source named under them.
United States as a whole ran at 384 g of CO2 per kWh in 2025, from Ember.
Those plants report to Salt River Project, Arizona Public Service Company and Western Area Power Administration - Desert Southwest Region.
A radius, not a supply. No public source states which plant serves which site, and nothing here says one does.

Supplies EUV lithography tools for leading-edge process technologies
In some cases, however, we are reliant upon sole-source providers, such as with the EUV lithography tools manufactured by ASML that are required for leading-edge process technologies, or providers that are substantially concentrated in a single country, such as with certain rare earth minerals critical to the functioning of a range of technology products and processes where China is the primary source of global supply.

Buys Certain x86 processors (single-source supplier)
In some instances, our single-source suppliers (e.g., Intel and AMD as suppliers of certain x86 processors Broadcom and others for industry standard Application-Specific Standard Product, or NVIDIA for Graphics Processing Units) are also the single-source suppliers for the entire market; disruptions with these suppliers would result in industry-wide dislocations and therefore would not disproportionately disadvantage us relative to our competitors.
