Designed for up to 5 MW of electrical power, the data center houses the central IT systems of the TU Dresden in addition to the supercomputers on more than 1200 square meters of computer room space.
The LZR was put into operation with the installation of the high-performance computer/storage complex (HRSK-II) in May 2015.
ZIH operates the system in particular for the AI and ML applications from the Big Data and AI Competence Center
