TX-GAIA is housed inside of a new EcoPOD, manufactured by Hewlett Packard Enterprise, at the site of the Lincoln Laboratory Supercomputing Center in Holyoke, Massachusetts.
It joins the ranks of other powerful systems at the LLSC, such as the TX-E1, which supports collaborations with the MIT campus and other institutions
The LLSC recently deployed TX-GAIA in 2019 and was rated by Top500.org as the 42nd fastest supercomputer in the world.
The new supercomputer is housed in a facility in Holyoke, Massachusetts and will go into production in the fall of 2019.
